A week ago we visited Sport center Papendal (the largest top sports training center in the Netherlands) for a kickoff meeting for the Alpe d'Huzes. At the kick off meeting we got some tips and tricks for the event itself and it was the exciting moment when we could pick up our team clothes with our sponsors on the back. And the result was simply amazing! So proud to see our dedicated sponsors on the back of our shirt.
At the kickoff, there was an impressive introduction about the candlelight campaign, something many participants will remember forever. From the valley, at 4:30 in the morning, participants will start biking and walking in silence and darkness. A special experience enhanced by the many twinkling lights of the thousands of candles on the 21 turns. Each candle burns for a loved one touched by cancer.
Many of our followers asked us to write a tag for their loved ones and it only costs you 6 euros. And with the knowledge that the full amount goes to cancer research, the support is on multiple levels. You can still participate in this action until June 5.
